England v Malta - 7:45pm KO

We have already qualified, Malta are a poor team that Boro would probably beat.

What is the advantage of playing Kane, Henderson etc? Just play the second 11, much more interesting and Southgate will be able to play different formations.

If it's the same old team with maybe one or two changes, then I won't bother.

Remember when "underdogs" the Faroe Isles gave Scotland a massive shock with a 2-2 draw back in 2002.
John Petersen - a school teacher, scored both goals for the Faroes! It took a certain Barry Ferguson untill under ten minutes from the final whistle to score Scotland`s equaliser!

30 years today we failed to qualify for the 1994 World Cup under Graham Taylor.

San Marino took the lead after 8/9 seconds, before we won 7-1, but Poland lost against the Netherlands, meaning we failed to qualify for the 1994 World Cup in USA.

Doesn't really matter who we field in the 11 tonight, we should win comfortably, ensuring we've won the group.

Rashford is rumoured to be starting.

As is TAA in midfield.

Gallagher, Guehi & Henderson are 'hopeful' of starting - according to DailyMail

I think we could field a league one experimental side and still gain something from the game — like most I’ll just be thinking of what to eat maybe for Friday rather than watch.

Took me over 3 hours in an online queue for tickets for England vs Brazil at Wembley, at £64.50 total for 2 adults and 1 under 16 ticket I’d say it was just about worth it 😃

People will complain whatever team is selected.

Faroes, Gib, Malta, San Marino Liechtenstein and Luxembourg should go into a pre-group stage group and the top two earn the right to go into the World cup/euro group stages.
That might cut back the amount of embarrassing dickings.

Someone related England to being a successful team. Does that make the jawdies a successful team as it has been the same amount of time that either have won a proper trophy!🤣

As ever with this England team I’m looking forward to the match.

I dread to think how people on this board would have reacted to the England teams of years gone by.

England have a group of quality players, play good football and are led by Manager who has transformed the set-up. Enjoy it while you can!

Luxembourg are second in their group and just tonked Sweden 3-0!

They only play a handful of games between now and the Euros. Play your strongest team at every opportunity to build that team understanding. Don't dish caps out just for the sake of it. If there's no chance of going to the Euros then bother involving them.
