I’ve got a horrible feeling that Henderson could start in the Euros

Henderson - was - once a decent player, good engine (as they say) & had drive to win.. good for a team.. however his legs have long gone, can hardly complete a competitive game now, & his passing is relentlessly sideways or backwards - he is now & generally has been, more effective for the opposition than the team he is picked for..

Needs to be on a desert dune sipping tea & emptying sand from his fat wallet.. while the rest of his - former England - buddies are trying to win a tournament, despite Gareth's meddling & 'tactics'

Hadn't really taken much notice of the group table but just seen Italy need to get a result at Ukraine on Monday to qualify. Big banana skin that.

I don't think Henderson should be playing but until his presence has a tangible affect on the results I will assume that Southgate has a valid reason to play him.
