Engle

A fair few on here still love him and continue to defend him. Its akin to defending your kids in front of everyone regardless , just because they are your kids. Love is blind

Whilst I love Clarke and his recent run he has been getting pulled all over in our last two games. Yes I appreciate that he is covering for full backs but it's about timing as well. He has been getting dragged out there when the left back has been marking the left sided player and it becomes a two on one and one less centre half.
It was leaving Hunt on his own in the middle and what good has that done for him tonight?

He may have, but our tactics dictate it. Their first goal came down the left are we not mentioning that?

Whoever plays infront of the left back drifts inside leaving whoever is there massively exposed. The midfield should sort it but clearly aren’t. Everyone can see it so the manager should sort it out. It happens every time. Hamilton was virtually central midfield offering no help.

Borges will only work if someone is helping out. Otherwise it will continue to happen.

Honest opinion lads? You can't blame one player for that...they have all been poor, put of possession they have shown no desire to defend, get tight, be aggressive, get in the faces...they all want to play play pretty triangles to the edge of the box...that side lacked steel.

Did it last game too , leaving the central area wide open . Do your own job well , don’t try and do the LB job also .

My honest opinion is that we would not have conceded 5 goals if McCormick had stayed on.

Someone has to do the Left Backs job because Engel isn't doing it

Carrick set him up bringing him on to be one on one against a pacy skilful winger.. Hamilton didn't supoort him at all either
Carrick set him up by bringing him on to replace a 19 year old kid playing in his second senior game?
He looked at his senior first choice LB who came on and as per usual looked like he'd been pulled from the local pub team.

He brought him on to do the job of a lb which is his job that he is paid to do. He had to bring him on because McCormick twisted his ankle first half and I’d guess it stiffened once he sat down and the adrenaline stopped at half time
