If it’s me then I’d say,

He’s a great singer, has a great personality and is very well known thanks to the smash TV show It’s a Sin (as well as his music). Definitely has the charisma for Eurovision

If you’re asking Zoo, then he definitely needs a good song but he did say he has started working on one.
 
Fab news...he announced it live on the strictly final last night and I let out a little scream. He is perfect for this...fingers crossed!!

No the UK music industry put a self imposing rule in that you can't do it twice ( yes Cliff once did it twice) but never that you have to be amateur. Thats Olympic boxing. Many British artists have refused to do it because of reputational risks but the contest has changed significantly since the Wogan/Katie Boyle days with countries spending millions on high budget productions and paying their top artists to perform.
