Eurovision week!!!

It’s not a big week in this house by any means but if I’m home on the night of the final I always watch it and quite enjoy it.

It’s one of those institutions that doesn’t feel like it’s been completely ruined by money or social media, in fact it feels much the same as it did when I was 12.
 
I love Eurovision, and the more outlandish the entrants the better as far as i'm concerned.

It's unashamedly camp TV.

How can you cook on the night, I mean with such excitement about & ahead ? Surely finger food in front of the TV is the winner here, with nothing more than a little prep here and there. Pickled herring on crispbread for the peskytarians , yogurt dill and chive dip on crispbread for the veggievores , a few cloudberries and lingonberries (calling then Johnny Loganberries is allowed ) for both. And for the main show, any 3 from the Flava lineup of spirits 😋

Croatia...favourite......yeah I get it....he reminds me of the lead singer of Safety dance though 🤣🤣🤣🤣....giving me the same kind of vibes that Finland gave me last year.....and they were ROBBED!!!!
