Ex player transfer scenario

So imagine this semi-plausible end of season situation...

1) Boro are promoted.
2) Leeds, Wolves and Bournemouth are relegated (you might guess where this is going!).
3) You HAVE to pick one of Patrick Bamford, Adama Traore or Marcus Tavernier to re-sign. Which one would it be? ('None' is not an option... So there!!!)

Wouldn't go for Bamford, not been great at all for Leeds over past couple of seasons, injuries granted.

Adama, no thanks, he's no where near the level needed.

Tav. Well ok I'd have him back, but no chance you get him for the £10m they paid us. Would likely cost double if not triple that.

They all have their merits but I think I would go with Tav. Bamford will be 30 early next season and has injury issues. Traore would disrupt the way we play too much. Tav could slot in to any of the midfield positions no problem and is young enough to still have his prime years ahead of him.

All three? Adama on a free
(Tav would be my number one pick)

Tav for me. You need reliability on your first season up and he's done well at Bournemouth and got assists and the odd goal. I like Bamford but he seems to be struggling a bit.

We signed three from a relegated Aston Villa when we went up.. Adama Traore, Rudy Gestede and Brad Guzan.

What three do you sign from Leeds, Wolves and Bournemouth.. and would that be enough to stay up?

Leeds - Pascal Struijk, Rasmus Kristensen..
Wolves - Ruben Neves, Max Kilman..
Bournemouth - Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing..

Bamford too injury prone lacks confidence but maybe Carrick could solve that.
Traore good footballer but not very good at football. Spends too much time standing whilst the game goes on around him.
Tavernier probably the least gifted out of the three. But with Carricks help he could turn out to be a real beast in midfield. His best is yet to come, the other two their best is behind them.
Tav for me!

I'd go nowhere near Paddy - purely because of his injury record. His body is made of glass. I think he's the best of the 3 mind, but down at the bottom in PL you need players who can play 90% of games.

For sheer entertainment, I could understand going for Adama, but I think this decision is very easy. It would have to be Tav.

He's more than held his own for Bournemouth this season and is quite often one of their best players whenever he plays.

If relegation did happen too, then we would have a hell of an asset on our hands - which we could either cash in, or build the team around.
