Testing is about as useful a gauge as pre-season friendlies in football.
I actually enjoyed last season as McLaren are finally showing signs of recovery. I watch the programme on Netflix recently "drive to survive" and it provides some great insight, which got me interested for this season again.
We'll find out Saturday! They won't sandbag qualifying. As an aside, does anyone else wish it was the bizarre outer loop this weekend? I liked that track.I dont think that the spins and off-track excursions were part of a bluffing game. It looked like the car was not handling well. But, who knows. We will find out on Sunday.
Yes - absolutely. That layout really worked well. We'll find out Saturday! They won't sandbag qualifying. As an aside, does anyone else wish it was the bizarre outer loop this weekend? I liked that track.
Unfortunately he wont get a point in that carI'm not a betting man.... but there was some good returns for Mick Schumacher to get a 1 podium this year
Although Haas have never scored a Podium, Mick is a different bred and just look at his racing record in the previous series - I would fancy him to nick a podium at some stage, there's also a bizarre race or two every season, look at Gasly in Italy
I think the race was only interesting because of the issues merc had, in a normal race they would win by 30 seconds on that trackWe'll find out Saturday! They won't sandbag qualifying. As an aside, does anyone else wish it was the bizarre outer loop this weekend? I liked that track.

Haas are running the exact same car as last season pretty much. Saving development tokens for the all new cars for 2022. They'll be dead last all season.I'm not a betting man.... but there was some good returns for Mick Schumacher to get a 1 podium this year

Which is virtually a lap!I think the race was only interesting because of the issues merc had, in a normal race they would win by 30 seconds on that track
I guess he'll make provocative statements at some of the race circuits.I was reading Hamilton's comments earlier about human rights. It's commendable but won't make a difference unfortunately.
I hope so. He has a voice and he's not afraid to use it. That being said he has happily raced in Bahrain in the post and is doing so again as we speak. I can see him doing the same in Saudi. Which is just sad really.I guess he'll make provocative statements at some of the race cicircuits.
He realises as a global icon his comments will at least get listened to. They'll fall on deaf ear mainly though.I guess he'll make provocative statements at some of the race circuits.
Aston Martin were pretty damn good last season! The Alpines and McLarens will be having a hell of a battle with the Green Mercedes this year.Red Bull looks quicker in qualy set up and Mercedes quickest in race trim from what I have read. The McLaren's diffuser will be on most cars by the third race but teams only have very limited upgrades they can use this season so it may not be suited to all current designs. They will be near the front of the midfield again. Aston Martin look like they have made a step too, they should win another race at least this season. Alfa Romeo could surprise a few teams too, this should be a really good season.
Lewis will win drivers but RedBull will win constructors is my prediction.
