F1 from racing to court room drama

Seems Massa wants the 2008 title he blew in Brazil ( Ferrari lousing up the pit stop, when leading, absolutely bottling it ). Which could have repercussions for Max's first title handed to him by former F1 race director Masi.. I think this could all get very messy..

I think the subtle difference between the two situations is that Massa is pursuing this as an individual, whereas I don't think Hamilton has ever suggested he would do something similar (at least publicly anyway). I can't see Mercedes pursuing the FIA without Hamilton's agreement. The more I think about AD21 the more enraged I feel about how Hamilton was completely shafted by FIA, Masi and Red Bull.

So his recent interview with Timo where they hugged and when he said it was all now forgotten isn’t quite the case then.

Nothing like Lewis btw as this was on the track issue. Lewis was about the regulations.

Massa's case rests on reported remarks by former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone earlier this year, in which he said that he and then FIA president Max Mosley knew Piquet's crash was deliberate and covered it up.

Piquet was found guilty that’s the difference

if they did sue then red bull will no doubt counter sue re silverstone etc and where does it end.

Be interesting to see the Massa case though.

Mercedes was going to take legal action over AD21, it was Lewis who told them not to.

My point above btw taking emotion out of this is that factually Lewis was sanctioned by the fia for the silverstone crash that’s fact so I’d suggest this would be red bulls angle.

The official line -

In came the verdict from the stewards. Hamilton was guilty, “predominantly at fault” for the crash

Yes so what, he was penalised for it?

As was Verstappen at Monza. In-race penalties are not the issue here. Corruption is.
Exactly that my point

But there is no evidence of corruption it’s opinion nothing concrete but in the massa case they have evidence directly linked to the top that’s the difference.

As I say be interesting to see where it all unravels

Btw I think f1 is boring with max winning all the time I’m no big max fan I want competition with drivers competing for wins let alone championships I hated Mercedes dominance and I hate this era as it’s just a non event.

Now you watch it for the 3rd and down spots.

I’m not saying one side is right or wrong im saying this would be very very messy legally as red bull would counter sue.
Counter-sue on what basis? They both got in-race penalties during that season for errors that they both made. That has nothing to do with the robbery that happened in Abu Dhabi.

You don’t think red bull would counter sue ??

The most aggressive PR BRAND obsessed company on the planet will just go away quietly.
