Fans back, more goals?

Is it just me, or does there seems to be lots more goals since the fans returned, even in limited numbers?

Not just the play offs, but the PL too.

It's a cliche I know, but football is nothing without the fans.

Not more goals but teams don’t die off like they used to. As fans provide that metronome to keep the tempo up especially at the closing stages.

I think the start of this PL season was an absolute goal fest when there were no fans there. Just part of a random fluctuation I suppose.

As for "football is nothing without the fans", I think that needs updating to "football is nothing if fans stop caring". Football can still be meaningful without fans in attendance; if anything it's been more important getting the nation through the last year than it was before. If fans stop caring about their teams and results, it's meaningless.
