Fans Forum Meeting

Next week. I have to send any matters for the agenda in by Thursday.
So, are there any matters people would like discussing at a fans (zoom) forum meeting?

Will the club operate a vaccine passport policy or will all fans be treated the same, vaccine or no vaccine? The latter carries more risk even with social distancing, but the club wont be able to do right from wrong in peoples eyes i‘d guess.

Obviously they will comply with EFL and Government rules, whatever they are at the time, but will that be as the minimum or will they go over and above the minimum, to ensure the maximum safety of those lucky enough to attend?

I say they went over the minimum because remember local authority also comes into this and it was lack of approval locally that meant no food/drink sales points OUTSIDE the stadium in that match.

But where do fans generally feel we should go on vaccine passports etc?

Is the club evaluating another process/tools for processing refunds etc for unused season tickets etc?

Not being able to offset previous refunds or seeing the amounts in your club "e-wallet" and having to fill in paper forms is a pain in the ar$e and will probably result in people taking their money out of the club when they would have been prepared to spend it with the club on other things etc.

its 2021 afterall

If we want fans in this season or even early next season it is going to be hard to do any consistent, workable passport type thing. I think limiting the ground to 10k and having super strict controls would be best.

RE season tickets: can we get an idea of what club is thinking for this season's money? I donated last season's. I wonder if some of this year's goes to cover streaming and rest towards next season if fans agree.

Do they expect full capacity next season or working on assumption of 10k limit as this year?

I love the virtual fan thing they do, gutted my son hasn't been picked yet.

With vaccine passports, there could be an opportunity to open one stand for those passported getting more in whilst opposite stands are socially more distanced as per the 1000 game for those unvaccinated. Control on exiting outside would be the main concern to avoid or reduce at least their mixing. Buses for those passported to town might help after match dispersal. I am sure both are feasible if the right thought is applied. Prudent use of car parking too.

That sounds very difficult to me.

Just reference the Season Tickets, surely it would be either a full refund or offer to put against next season ticket, how can it be anything else. Obviously the free streaming is appreciated but in no way can it be considered as part of your season ticket cost.

Haha.....all the oldies in one stand then, it would surely have to be the West Stand then to follow existing tradition.....😁....I class myself as an oldie by the way.

Are the club going to make another batch of this seasons 3rd white away shirt
It seems there a few fans out there who would be interested in buying one

Cheers Rob

Does the club have a contingency plan, should the worst should happen and fans aren't allowed in the grounds for the rest of this year?

Hopefully not but thats what a lot of other clubs have done. I know SWFC fans and they get £10 deducted everytime they stream a game. However that was all announced up front.

I kept my refund from the 4 missed games last season in my account, but although its there, its not the easiest to find on the website I have to admit.

Shaun - how do you know if you have a refund in your account? I have never had anything confirmed for 2019/20.

Rob - Can the club give an update and confirm to Season Ticket holders what is happening regards to costs / refunds not just for this season but also for the remainder of 2019/20 season. For 2019/20 I‘m sure there was a list of refund/alternative options offered instead of a cash refund and I was thinking of taking up the option of either using the car park for games or having 4 away tickets as part of my “refund”. I am concerned the club will tell us about this seasons refunds and conveniently forget about the 19/20 offers as I have never had a cash refund yet no confirmation of what other option the club have given to me. It would be nice to have it in writing. The club should be writing to confirm to supporters in writing what they have chosen for the 19/20 season refund and then do the same for this season.
