Fans Forum Meeting

NortonExile - If you log into your account and go to the page where you can see your priority points for instance.

There should be 5 tabs, Welcome, Season Tickets, Priority Points, Credit Cards, History

Select History, then use the drop down menu to select Payments. You should see 4 deposits for the games we missed last season (2019/20). Mine for the NW Corner was 4 x £18.26 (season card price / 23)

Nothing written to confirm this had taken place, but there was an email which covered the article below.

Update From The Ticket Office | Middlesbrough FC (mfc.co.uk)

For the current season, there was the below release. Theres a paragraph which mentions those who were unlucky in the ballot for the 'Pledge To Renew'

If you are not successful, you have two options:
  1. Request a full refund from the Ticket Office
  2. Remain in the process for any future ballots should more tickets be made available later in the season
If you choose option two, you will be given free access to live online streaming while attendances remain restricted. You will also, at a later date, receive a pro-rata refund for any and all matches which you are unable to attend based on the restricted access and the ballot process.

It doesnt specifically mention those 8,000 who initially renewed but you would hope the above would cover those fans too.

With vaccine passports, there could be an opportunity to open one stand for those passported getting more in whilst opposite stands are socially more distanced as per the 1000 game for those unvaccinated. Control on exiting outside would be the main concern to avoid or reduce at least their mixing. Buses for those passported to town might help after match dispersal. I am sure both are feasible if the right thought is applied. Prudent use of car parking too.

A vaccine passport... People do realise that the vaccine doesn't stop it being spread and well you could still go towards killing someone which is the main reason I've heard for groups of people not getting together? 🤔

They are looking into this right now, as it may. If it does stop or even reduce transmission likelihood, then it is a game changer chris. Your comment may well prove to be inaccurate for the reason stated

I will mention as many of this list as possible this evening.
It is a meeting of just fans groups. But will be put it into a report submitted to the football club for a first meeting of the year with MFC to follow on 8th February.

As an update - we met on Monday - fans reps but not the club.
Minutes will be presented soon.
But every point from this thread, even including Shaun pointing out where you could find details of refunds has been presented to the club in a document.
Can I also add here that Boro Supporters Forum secretary, Peter Hodgson, has been in North Tees hospital for over a week rushed in with breathing difficulties from covid. His wife was hospitalised the same day but is thankfully now back at home. Peter has been on oxygen but not a ventilator as far as I can tell. He is fighting back and would you join me in wishing him well and a speedy and full recovery.

Get well soon Peter!

Rob weren't the club meant to be part of the meeting or were they just not able to attend this one?

I thought they were but was wrong. But I did mention when I realised. The meeting with the club is soon though. 8th Feb. I am not sure I can attend but all the points have been forwarded to the club.

Good news, secretary Peter Hodgson discharged from hospital in time for a full English breakfast before enjoying Norwich game.
