Favourite "Tpyical Boro" moments?

I'd say today ranks pretty highly as one of the craziest "typical Boro" moments, but what's your favourite?

One that stands out for me was beating Mourinho's Chelsea 3-0, straight after we'd lost 0-4 at home to Villa.

Think the Villa game had been the same game where a Boro fan threw his season ticket at McClaren.

That 3 - 0 win the one for me too.

I remember being at work and all the pundits on Sky Sports dismissing anything other than a Chelsea win (understandably). I think it was Peter Reid saying Boro’s European games were a distraction.

I’d deliberately taken a later lunch, so was listening in between 3pm and 4pm. Very much a typical Boro moment!

Another one I've just remembered is from the beginning of the 99/00 season.

We'd lost at home to Bradford on the opening day, won the next 3 games (which included a win vs Liverpool) and played Leicester at home, knowing we'd go top if we won.

We lost 0-3.

Winning 0-3 at Highbury that year when I think we were horribly out of form and were fighting relegation with Venebles in charge? No one saw that coming.

Birmingham 1 Boro 0 FA cup 1975. Still haven't got over that as we had beaten them 3-0 in both league matches! The cup was there to be won that season.

Mowbray's last full season think we won something like 2 matches in the last 15 or something ridiculous.

Of course one of those was of course against eventual champions Cardiff.
Was Mowbray in charge when Emnes turned into Maradona for an hour and we beat Swansea at their ground when they were top of the table?

Edit: Bad memory. It was Southgate and they weren't top!

Steve McClaren telling Downing that Sevilla's right back "lacked pace" before the 2006 UEFA Cup Final. Turns out that slow right back was the best of his generation.

Pontus Kâmark man marking TLF out of the League Cup final after he'd ripped Leicester to bits in the league possibly a close second.
