Final nail for f1 for me

Suppose three teams spend £1m on brake ducts.

Team A takes the full £1m expense in that year, then they are free in future years.
Team B says they'll use the design for two years, and takes a £500k hit each year.
Team C says they'll use the design for four years, and takes a £250k hit each year.

Which team is the brazen cheat?

Now suppose those brake ducts were actually made by a third-party supplier with some vague financial ties to the team. How much of any other costs incurred by that supplier should also count against the team's budget cap?

Sporting finances are not as simple as counting the money in and out of a bank account. I'm glad the FIA are taking their time with this, but F1 fans from all sides love to find conspiracies in everything.

It really is a lot simpler than that, they either broke the cap or they didn't.

If they didn't, nothing will happen. If they did, nothing will happen.

It’s boring and so sanitised now anyway. Do people even still watch it? The best car just wins

Well according to some on here the last race of last season certainly wasn't sanitised and it wasn't the best car that won... ;)

I've really enjoyed this season so far. Ferrari started so well and then disintegrated, seemingly by crazy team decisions. Red Bull's reliability was poor then it picked up. Merc have improved all season and it has been great to see Russell doing so well in his first season with them (doing as well as Hamilton).

It’s interesting I agree but a major part of who wins is the car.

Which is ok in my opinion, it is what it is.

I went to the Silverstone Grand Prix for the first time this year and it was fantastic, I think you have to see motor racing live to fully appreciate it.
