Flu Years Eve

I have had a Covid type viral infection for over two weeks now. On my second batch of antibiotics. It’s hammered my chest, throat, ears and sinuses. First time I have missed a home Boxing Day match since I was in the Forces. Crap festive season, haven’t had a drink yet. Looking forward to my first drink after the meds have finished.
Feel for anyone who is feeling crook at this time.

Also had mine for two weeks and it’s just about going now, had a lingering cough for the last few days.

The first week was absolutely awful, I’d say it was worse than my experience of covid, which was also pretty bad.

First started feeling Ill on the 13th, progressed to a bad flu for a week (bad cough, night sweats, aching), had a couple of days of feeling ok with a lingering cough then Boxing Day hit with sinusitis which I’m still ramming Sudafed in now to ease the pain around by right eye and cheek. Had all the covid and flu jabs. No doubt I’ll be well again for work on Tuesday and when the kids go back to school.
