I've made it past Christmas in my first season. Just. We were all over the place results wise going into December and lower mid table, loads of rumours I was going to get sacked. Went on a winning run through December with Coburn and Jones (back from injury) banging the goals in, now 7th.
Woodgate has gone to Millwall as manager. Crooks and Djiksteel are moaning about game time

I'm playing the mobile touch version not sure how much that differs to the main game? maybe its a bit easier as I'm currently top of the league.
I've unintentionally only got up to Leicester at home tho.
Rogers, Jones and Greenwood have all been the stand out players in my team. Jones in particular on the right as a winger is scoring and assisting really well.
True to life McGree is in for like two games then is injured for weeks, Smith although not out for the season is also injured a lot and McNair and Dijksteel keep getting injured (the right back curse!)
Not sure how Rob Edwards is still in charge at Luton, as he seems to be at every Boro game watching Lenihan rather than managing his own team, so thinking of selling him in Jan to fund a few signings and Clarke has just returned to fitness intime to replace him at the back.
Looking forward to getting Greenwood for £1.5m at the end of the season!

I've made the mistake of not giving into players and refused to give Jones a new £30k(!) a week contract, and now the whole team is peed off. 4 games without a win.
Yeah I always just give them the contract.
A few unhappy players in your team and your form just plummets very quickly.

Yep, think this is my issue - bad start created unhappy players which in turn created further friction with a few players who then wanted to leave - a vicious circle!
Carrick has just popped up at Millwall on mine, not sure that's a natural fit.
I had the same problem with Jones, the contract he wanted in my financial state was a joke, he backed down after promotion though and he got a new one 6 months into the PL season. Mcgree on the other hand wouldn't reduce his demands and point blank refused to enter negotiations. I hope he's enjoying life mid table in the championship with Sheffield United

Got a wonderkid for you all to try, Deivid Washington. He's a Brazilian Wonderkid at Chelsea who I noticed when he was smashing goals in on loan for another championship side 1st season. Monitored him during a loan spell with Palace in the championship after that and it was another 20 goal season.
I've took the plunge brought him into partner Jovic on loan (£60million option) and he's been incredible, 7 goals and 3 assists in 12 games as I sit comfortably mid table aiming upwards!

Got Deivid on loan at the start of my 2nd season (Boro in Championship) .. scored 3 in 6 being rotated between AML(IF) and ST positions. Deadline day Pochettino says he's not happy with the position I'm playing him in, I reply something like he's playing well and I don't want to upset the team balance. RECALLED. Just checked and he's still sat in Chelsea u21 squad near the end of said season. I have learnt to always check the finer details of the loans now

We went on a 10 match unbeaten run in Dec/Jan, 8 wins and 2 draws that had us up to 7th, all going great with players being picked on form then a load of them, especially Howson, started moaning about lack of game time, form collapsed with us ending up 8th.

Yep he was outstanding on FM23. Develops into an elite winger and was in my Boro team with a few others.He was a wonderkid on last years game, I signed him a few times, so felt a bit of pride when he scored last night
