Football Manager(PC game) anyone played FM23?

I have been a FM fan for years and the only 3 games missing, is a game from the early 2010s, FM22 and FM23. The reason I didn't get FM22 was I was still enjoying FM21 so didn't feel the need to upgrade. For me now FM21 has come to the end of its game life for me.
I'm wondering if anyone has played FM21, FM22 and FM23? And if there is a huge difference in gameplay and features moving from FM21 to FM22 or be better skipping and moving straight onto FM23(FM22 is less than half the price of FM23)?
 
Apparently its the worst one for new features, its basically last years game with a couple of not-so-interesting extra things added that aren't worth the money they're charging. I've seen people say if you already have FM21 or FM22, then play those and skip 23 as its not worth it.
 
Yes it’s more evolution than revolution but honestly that’s fine.

As above it’s more of the same but better.

Btw if you are after it buy it before 8th nov for 20% off

To be honest it’s worth it for the datebase alone

and this year it mirrors real fixtures so break for the world cup is in it adding a unique challenge.

The match engine is a lot better than last year it’s a real contest now.

Cheers I think I will skip FM22 and move straight to FM23. I will then hopefully notice a bigger improvement in overall gameplay. I'm hoping Ai has improved since FM21 especially referees in highlights and VAR decisions!(sorry I sound like Neil Warnock now 🤣).
 
The champ man games are like FIFA , just data updates and a few cosmetic changes they make to justify it being called a new version to charge you for

What they usually do as well is make the game worse every year with the last patch so you get frustrated with it and upgrade

played them all since champ 93/94!!!! FM23 is a good update, without anything majorly different, just some minor tweaks.

Boro are ridiculously over powered on it mind. I signed Gyokeres for 4.7 (wish that happened in real life) and Shole Shoretire on loan from Man on a season long loan. Won the league with 4 games to spare and finished on 98 points - lost 3 of the last 4 too. This season in the Prem is proving much trickier! on 9pts from 8 games so far!
