Atletico almost £1bn in debt? £30m a season in interest payments...
Barca's lowest finish since 2008 comes at a traumatic time, with the club more than £1.1bn in debt and this week requiring a £100m emergency loan to cover unpaid player wages.
How is buying success now & risking the future existence of the club a good way to run a club?
Football need to change, contracts need to be incentive based & realistic fees for transfers - if any fee at all, I can see majority of deals below the PL being free transfers & very few £m transfers, it could be back to the £516,000's style deals... of David Mills...
Can't keep spending money beyond reason.
