Sorry for the spoiler, but if it’s a shock either

a) you don’t give a f@@k about F1

Or

b) you just like moaning for moaning sake

You might think boromart was out of order for the way he spoke on that thread, but he has stated that it’s an anniversary, which I suspect was the passing of their spouse as they have spoke about it before. I don’t think it fair to prod the stick here

Yes well done you prat. I’ve had the sh1ttest day the kind of day I hope you never have to deal with and I have to put up with pathetic bullying threads like this? I bet you are really proud of yourself for pushing someone when they’re going through a difficult day, you’re a lowlife. I come on here for a bit of escapism from some of the worst things I’ve been through and instead I have to see the worst of human behaviour.

Not sure when I’ll be back on this board
Not sure what's gone on in your day but after reading your post on the other thread and your reply here, I would suggest you step away until in the morning.

If you need to talk and get things off your chest, I am more than willing to listen.

I dont think ive watched a single race properly since Lewis was robbed of the title which also just happens to coincide with Max's dominance and ive watched it since the Senna/Prost years
Same, I was starting to get bored of it anyway and that was the excuse I needed to stop watching all together.

Same here, although I've only been watching regularly for about a decade.

It shouldn't be classed as a sport anymore IMO

Haven’t watched for a while but is it any different to when Vettel or Hamilton were winning all the time?

Yes. Record number of race wins far exceeding what either of those did in a single season. When the two you mentioned had a bad qualifying others would win, but now Verstappen just presses the DRS button on his steering wheel and breezes past. Add in the fact that his teammate is unable to even remotely challenge, and you are left with one of the most boring era's of F1, unless of course a race for 2nd / 3rd place excites you (which it does for me only sometimes)

It would be even more boring if it was a Verstappen Perez 1-2 every race.

Be honest, when was the last great season?

Surely 2021, if you ignore the ending.

A constant battle throughout, going to the final day, ruined by corruption right at the end.

Game of Thrones style implosion to ruin all that came before it, but it was undoubtedly a great season before that final lap.

I'd nearly got in to Formula 1 by the end of that season, but the ending killed all interest.

The season where they contrived to give the Championship to Max was a superb season. It went right down to the wire, and then the clusterfukk of the restart soured everything since.

I doubt they care they have obviously finally managed to sell F1 to the USA by turning it into WWE in cars.

2021 was great, but with such a poisonous atmosphere surrounding the ending, it was ruined. But it was a fantastic season overall.

2018 was good. In the first half of the season the battle between Vettel and Hamilton was close and exciting, and the 2nd half of the season was interesting for very different reasons, as we saw the complete unravelling of a multiple world champion from which he never recovered. The fact that we can pinpoint the exact lap of the exact race when his career changed forever is fascinating (to me anyway).

2016 People moaned about the Mercedes dominance, but the Rosberg / Hamilton duel was intense and culminated in a great season long battle.
