Forss and O’Brien

I know we are expecting Hackney, Crooks and Lath back in training this week which is good but has there been any update on Forss and O’Brien? I’ve not seen anything recently. Both would be massive for the squad if we could get them back in the next 4-6 weeks.
 
O'Brien was estimated 2-3 months, it's been three months, so surely he should be due back in light training soon, unless there are complications.
 
O'Brien was in the Boro club official 'favourite Xmas movies' video. He was one of the players who had an input.

Clearly doesn't mean to much😂. Although he was sent back to forest for his treatment. So he's at least in the building.
 
It would be nice to get two players in on loan or via other means this week. But the way the club are speaking are that we have a long term plan, which I suppose means we be waiting to the end of the month. I would like us to have a bit of genuine pop at the cup games but there you go ' we have a long term plan' so we can forget about any cup aspirations.
 
McNair is the most bizarre one. He was described as "looking uncomfortable" when he went off at Leeds but seems to have vanished off the face of the earth since.
 
I would rather have Paddy back than Clarke, because when McNair plays Boro sometimes win.

However I am beginning to accept the fact that Paddy is on his way. Boro have seemingly ascertained that the money committed to give Paddy a new contract would be better used elsewhere. I hope this is so, but Paddy has been a good servant to our club, and somewhere there is a lucky club who will sign him.

It might suit both McNair and the club, he maybe wants a change.
 
Paddy is off, Forss has suffered a recurrence of his injury after returning to the grass.

O'Brien set to be back mid-February
 
How does it work with loans when they have a long term injury - don't they go back to their original club, or have I imagined that?

Really don't think this is the case. Looks more likely Paddy's back spasms have continued. Got to be careful with the back of course but woould be great to have him back this month.
There was an indication before Xmas that Forss could be back in January. I thought O'Brien was possibly slightly longer
