has anyone seen the four year plan about QPR? I am currently reading Neil's book "The Gaffer" which is a great read by the way. and he keeps referring back to the documentary four year plan which i hadn't even heard of.
for those who dont know about it its about QPR when ecclestone and briatore when they bought the club in 2007 and got them promoted to the premier league in 2011. Shows everything that went on from signing players, finance meetings and even where briatore and the sporting director are making the decisions on who to sub etc.
two things that really shocked me, 1. how is it possible to run a club that way and 2. that they invited the cameras in to watch them run it in this way!
admittedly it got them promotion but certainly seemed one hell of a circus at the time!
Give it a watch if you havent seen it, Mr Warnock goes to QPR and turns them around from almost certain relegation to promotion candidates........sound familiar?
