Still looks pretty batterd. The injuries must be horrific. BBC have kept it out of the news. I guess his family and wanting it to be private as well.
It must have been a awful crash. He's yet really to speak about it.
It's great to see him up and about
Hopefully a full recovery from whatever injuries he sustained. The fact is he's not a 'racing' driver. You often look at top gear presenters doing 150mph - 200mph+ as a 'celeb' and think it's a recipe for disaster.
See Richard Hammond twice. Lucky to be alive for 'entertainment'.

This is the car he was apparently driving. It looks like a death trap anyway but with his size, I really doubt his head would be lower than those bars behind the seats. The fact he had to wait 45 minutes for an ambulance too is shocking. You would think they would have one on standby for anything remotely dangerous.
