I just read the most amazing stat!

There have only been three goalless draws in a final since the football league play-offs were introduced in 1987. One in a fourth-tier play-off final, one in a third-tier play-off final and one in a second-tier play-off final. Obviously all three matches went to penalties.

The same team won all three! Without googling would you know?

Yes its a pretty unique fact that. I went to the Div 1 Final in 2012 when Huddersfield beat Sheff United on pens. One of the worst games of football Ive seen. Both teams played like we did in 2015

It was United they played in 2012. Think they beat Wednesday in the play off semi final in 2017 again on penalties! They then went on to beat Reading in the final on penalties
