From since just before the playoffs

Partly he’s been naive and is making worrying mistakes. That said he still is someone who will get success if backed. Stick with carrick.
He’s made a great start to his management career. He’s going through a sticky patch at the moment.

End of last season we were unlucky with injuries and ran out steam.

This season we should have a few more points than we’ve got. You can’t legislate for defensive mistakes and some of the sitters we’ve missed. However, overall performances haven’t been good enough but given the amount of incomings and outgoings and loss of our key players last season I can understand it.

I’m sick of this clamour some people have for replacing the manager when there’s a bad run of games.

We’ve got a bright young manager who has a great deal of potential. He’s going to make mistakes, but he’s shown that with the right backing and hopefully some patience, he can get us playing some really good football. We’ve got to give him time.

No point getting rid, bringing a new man in and starting again. We’ve cycled through too many managers over the last 10 years. If we’re building around longer term recruitment strategy and plan, we’ve got to give Carrick the time to coach and develop those players as well.

I know. He’s made some big mistakes and was outclassed by robins in play offs. That said he’s young he will learn. He will be a massive success for the club if he’s backed. The lack of faith for many of us lies with the big 3 above. Carrick has my confidence and backing

Howson’s injury? Ramsey’s injury? Steffen’s injury? Giles, Archer and Akpom with their minds on moves away? Mowett looking after himself? Muniz being nowhere near?

im not sure that’s fair on Giles Archer or Akpom. They never gave anything less than complete commitment whilst they were here.
To some extent we were victims of our own success last season we played incredibly well for 6 months then for whatever reason we were a bit meh for the last month of the season. What made it stand out was the contrast to how good we’d been.

We’re 4 games in and fans are complaining about players!

Archer had half a season in and bottled it when it counted. Giles and Akpom did great during the season.. playoffs not do much.
Akpom injured? Giles.. wasn’t it his mistake that led to Coventry’s only goal that knocked us out?

Archer scored 1 in 2. And got a good few assists. Archer is a premier league player and he will prove so. Let’s work with what we have got. Hope and pray ( we will have to pray) that we get the much needed bodies in and really kick start our season. There’s some quality here a lot of genuine young lads with a point too prove but let’s not pretend we have the same calibre of squad we did then. We don’t with 3 big signings we could get close but we won’t get back what we have. Hope the likes of silvera rogers and hopefully Gilbert can get his way in.

I don’t want to get back what we had last season.. it wasn’t good enough. Looking forward to seeing what the new guys can do this season.

Has been awful and its down to the manager.
I'll admit this was posted rather tongue in cheek but questions must be asked of Carrick now.
Team selection, rigid tactics and jelling the new personnel in are all on him. I really like the bloke and hope he turns it around.

We should get Steve Round in as assistant manager
