It really doesn't matter what the tories do now. They have had it. They had an opportunity when sunak took over but he is a political eunuch

There could an element that some people don't vote for stretched out Governments that are seen as a bit tired.

Seasonally the Autumn is sometimes seen as the end of the year as nights draw it and trees shed their leaves - in some instances that again could be applied to Governments especially when they have been in along time.

Labour have to maintain. For almost a year the polls haven’t altered from around a 20 points lead. Labour’s private polling is probably showing the same numbers.
The thing they have to avoid is complacency. It must be tempting sitting back counting the pending majority. Not a good idea though, just keep it all tight…boring but stuff happens.
Suddenly we appear to be in recession. Sunak keeps loading Starmer’s gun for him.
 
After that battering Rishi won’t be calling an election anytime soon.

But if the idiots stick another leader in there I feel they will be required to call one by the public.

Interesting few days ahead.

It’s great to watch. They threw everything and it failed. You’d have thought some of the dimwits might have looked back and see that they need to change tact and no go even further to the right.

We would get slaughtered with that team newy. We might score 1 or 2 but concede a dozen. We would end up with a flat back 2 once engel goes maurading down the wing. I like the way you are thinking!
 
Budget coming up. Tories attack lines on Labour not working. I am thinking the May election could be back on the table…

Hunt will announce a small tax cut on Wednesday and also promise a bigger one in the coming months but it will be a condition of the Tories winning the GE. If it lands well Sunak will announce a GE for May.

You heard it here first!! ;)
 
There will be a spring GE I assume. The tories will see what happens with the budget on Wednesday. If they see any uptick in the polls they will pull the trigger.
 
It shouldn’t even be a decision the ***** get to make. There have been four PM’s since 2019 and the last two unelected. A GE is overdue.
