The German police are looking for a sawn-off wooden penis about 2 meters high. The art object stood for years on top of the mountain Grünten near Rettenberg (Allgäu), but has now disappeared.
The authorities are completely in the dark about the reason for the removal.
Because it is not even known who placed the object there, it is also unclear whether it actually concerns vandalism.
The police do not rule out that the maker of the work has removed the phallus himself.
It does not have to be a criminal offense, according to a spokesman.
A few weeks ago, Grünten’s wooden penis was already in the news.
The pole, made of a tree trunk, had fallen over and was only upright for a few days before disappearing without a trace.
