getting ear drops in a dog's ear?

Not terribly helpful but I always train my dogs to allow paw, ears, teeth and general checks such as a vet might do to get them used to being poked about, do this as a young dog and you can spare yourself this carry on.

Usually...

You're not the only one with problems. I was in a pub in Sheffield on Monday night. The pub's dog was an Irish wolfhound the size of a small donkey. The landlady was telling one of the regulars that the landlord had walked into the vets the previous week and said I've come for an appointment for my dog, but I've just realised I forgot to bring it with me.

Good luck, our dog had a bad paw recently and wouldn’t even let me spray some antiseptic on it, had the full works of him jumping up and fake nashing me with a bit of low growling thrown in and he is a daft soft dog normally.

Have you tried sticking a muzzle on him for a very short time whilst you get the drops in? It’s not nice but may make him realise you are doing something that needs doing and once the muzzle is off that’s it done and you won’t be pestering him.
