They're playing Real Madrid, who are far worse.

I'm not overly fussed about Chelsea getting knocked out, but they're almost the good guys in this situation.

There is no situation, even if they were to be playing a team from Russia. That Chelsea Rae the good guys.

I hate Chelsea, but I always prefer English clubs to win.

(As I said in the other thread, I think Benzema is good at football).

I don’t see Chelsea as an English club in the sense you say. . Financed by Russian stolen assets they were the first club to field a completely non English team in the top flight. Have no empathy with them whatsoever.
