He had a chance of potentially making a name for himself as a regular starter in the PL. It hasn’t worked out as planned yet but can hardly blame him. It’s a short career.
I’m sure if we had won the playoffs he would have stayed.

It's well known and was said on radio Tees he gave his word on signing for us. We missed out on targets due to this assurance and at the last minute changed his mind. So I think I'm right in saying he did do something wrong.
If he's getting praised for clapping the fans it should also be pointed out what he did.

It's all about the right team and how the player fits in to that system of play. For us he was excellent and his 3 replacements certainly haven't been.

Booing him cause he didn't come back I guess. We weren't going to pay his prem wage that he earned, and seeing how the season went it was probably a good choice, neither him or us would have been much better off. Least he was one of those loans that left on a good note after putting in a cracking shift. Same the Villa lads.

Giles limitations are well known and are not going to be removed with experience. Hes a decent championship player at best and would have to be immediately replaced on promotion. I certainly wouldn't go back for him. Archer is another as good as he was for us we would have to pay a fortune for him to return and i am not sure he would deliver. Chuba is different if we could spend 10m and get him back i would do it in a heartbeat. The guy was sheer class and whilst he might not have such a, prolific scoring season again he would still rip up this league for usWe brought in 3 left backs and Greenwood to replace him and McGree. Have they? Would like to see him and O’Brien down the left next year.
