Didn't try this year. I've tried to get tickets for a few gigs this year and have failed only for them to be instantly available on resale sites. I'm becoming disillusioned by the whole process.

Yep, one of the horror shows from my early days of going would help temper enthusiasm and make it easier to get tickets in the future. Even more appealing assuming I don't get tickets in the resale :)

Didn't bother this year - going to a European festival
 
To make matter worse I've been roped into a 5 day holiday with the girlfriend's family over the Glastonbury weekend now. Getting tickets in the resale has never been more important.

Yes have been very lucky over the years. Many of mates who usually go didn't get them and it wont be the same without them.
