Golf clinic in the sunshine in December - Pablo Larrazábal-

Yesterday we had a golf clinic with Pablo Larrazábal. A multiple winner on the European golf tour.

It was a group of around 20 of us in total.

He spent around 25 minutes demonstrating and teaching us as a group. Including answering any questions we had.

Then we each got a bit of individual tuition on the range. Then we had some lunch.

Followed by us playing 9 holes. With Pablo joining each 4 ball. To play a couple of holes with each group.

In the evening we all went out to a local Italian restaurant. With Pablo joining us. With him telling us some stories about his life in golf.

When we got up in the morning it was a little overcast. I was dressed up in three layers and an insulated golf cap. By the time we had finished the morning session the sun had come out.

A perfect way to spend a December day of my life in retirement.

A couple more photos in a comment. As they were blurred when inserted in the post. I guess for storage capacity reasons.

What a life sounds fantastic
Also we did not have to pay for the golf clinic.

The guy who runs the Italian restaurant, Marco, has arranged a 2 day golf tournament here. Along with our golf director, Juan. Who is on the left of the top photo.

Marco had about a dozen friends fly in from Italy. To take part in the competition. The clinic was organised for them. We got an invite as Marco is our friend.

For a short time Juan played on the European tour. He is a friend of Pablo.

It is the quiet season for professional golfers. So Pablo had not touched his clubs for 3 weeks. As he has been on holiday.

He flew down from Barcelona. To do this clinic as a favour to Juan. I guess that the flights and the hotel stay for Pablo were paid for by one of the sponsors of the competition.
