"Good girl, well done"

As I said above if you listen to it, he's wound up and rattled by her persistent question.

He knew what he was saying. Definitely belittling her.

Funny really, depending on what woman you spoke to, this sort of terminology is encouraged throughout the female population.

👀

Maybe he’s just trying to be like Ferguson, he used to say “well done” to Geoff Shreeves at the end of every interview, haha.

I think you're thinking of James McClean (who wouldn't thank you for calling him Northern Irish). Jim McLean was from Lanarkshire in Scotland.
I think he referring to me already knowing Brendan Rodgers was Northern Irish but perhaps thought I didnt know that. Saying its a Scottish thing due to the incidents being in Scotland.

But in the same context, when Eric Cantona kicked the Palace fan, would you of said its an English thing? I'd say the French man, or maybe mention the Premier League, rather than anything English.

This is whats wrong with this country everybody's too touchy feely ,everybody reacts to every little comment anybody makes so in the end nobody say's anything for fear of reprisal.
I agree! Rodgers clearly over-reacted to a straight forward question, asked by a professional reporter doing their job well.
Hopefully he will be less tetchy in the future, and she will continue to approach her job in the right way.
