Grand National

Just said this to someone else, win or lose, at the price that is the road to the poor house mate, leave well alone.
Tried to persuade my wife to pick something else but she's just finished working on a flat cap for a bear so she said she had to pick it

That lad from Stockton who won £250,000 at Cheltenham later tipped ”Minella Indo” for the Gold Cup in the Gazette. I took his advice and won a few bob. He is tipping “Burrows Saint” for the Grand National so will go with his advice again!

Bet £5 EW on Cloth Cap, the favourite on Sky Bet.

I never win when I go for my usual choice of the name I like best, so hopefully going for the favourite helps me.

I've gone E/W in no particular order:

Jett
Kimberlite Candy
Magic Of Light
Mister Malarky
Burrows Saint
Tout Est Permis

Well, made a profit (2.5/1) but should have backed a horse called “Minella” again!

As if you would rule out a horse in 2021 just because a female jockey is riding it. Stupid rule and one I’m glad I didn’t follow!
The rule is to do with stats not sexism. It's physically difficult to ride the national. We'll done though.

Piece of p!ss this National betting. Son said are you having a bet and I said wouldn't know what to bet on. Who does he answered. So I said ok and then promptly forgot about it. When I remembered it said 17:14 on my phone by time I got on the site it was 17:15 and I thought I would miss it. Grabbed the second one I looked at. Only £5 each way but it will cover what I lost on my footy bets and a couple of quid spare. As I said piece off p!ss. :giggle:
