Great North Run - and a little request

Hi all - not posted here for a good while - Boro have kind of floated off my radar in the last few years really - despite being back in the North East again. I am now on the board at Redcar Athletic FC - in the Northern League, Division 1.

Anyway, I digress - I am running the Great North Run for the first time, and raising funds for Redcar Food Bank (run by Footprints in the Community) - if you could throw a quid or two in, I would be delighted. Please and Thank You x

Good to hear from CB - and great to hear you are running the Great North Run and for such an important cause and for a cause that I know is very close to your heart. It has been amazing following your running progress and just how far you have developed since I saw you at the finish of the Middlesbrough 5k. That is real dedication over the past couple of months being able to tackle a half marathon and beyond. Very best of luck. And well done with all the training.

That's really kind. I have followed all your Park Runs as well, and that has helped. In the nicest possible way, I felt "well, if Rob can do it, so can I"

And in 18 days, I will find out!!
