Great song but not sure why The Hollies should be classed as a guilty pleasure. They recorded some brilliant stuff in the 60s

Really. My dad mustn't have been "hip" then as we had them in the car for years when I was a kid. I loved them. I guess maybe if they were a 00's band they might have been classed as landfill indie! Following slightly on the coat tails of the bigger bands of the day but still making some good music in their own right

Compared with the Who, Stones, Yardbirds and then Hendrix, Pink Floyd etc. Still got most of their early albums but none of my friends at the time did.
