Harry Chapman

I always liked chapman and genuinely thought he could be the next big thing to step up from the academy esp after his performance v PSG youth. Great technique and skill and an eye for goal as well. But never quite happened.

some more goals from that run.

Only Fry and Tavernier have managed to nail down a place in our team from that UEFA side, although Tav was very young and only came off the bench. Coulson is obv on our bench.

Arnel Jakupovic is now slumming it in the slovenian league, seams a waste of a talented youth player.

Full of ex Boro players on the scoresheet last night. Apart from Chapman we had goals from Rhodes and Reach.

really happy for him, we've had other youngsters with amazing potential who's attitude was the problem, never heard anything like that about chapman. It was just his body letting him down.

Really glad he's getting a run of games its exactly what he needs, hopefully he can build that strength up and move back through the leagues.

He's certainly got the potential.

It may just be as simple as him finding his right level. Nothing wrong with being a really good League 1 player.
maybe, but I think he has shown he is better than that. 4 or 5 years ago he was destroying players of his age group throughout Europe. He has scored 10 goals in 19 career starts.....as a winger.

He was part of the England U20 world cup winners and didn't look out of place in a team that had Adam Armstrong, Dom Solanke, Calvert-Lewin, Ademola Lookman. In fact except for the third choice keeper and a reserve defender he has had the least impressive career so far from that squad, despite being one of the most technically gifted.

If he stays fit, he won't stay at Shrewsbury long.

He's only there on loan anyway, he'll be gone in the summer whatever happens.

He's failed to break in to the Blackburn team over the past 2 years, after a fairly successful loan spell there in League One which was cut short by a lengthy injury, so they loaned him out themselves.
Which is looking like a wise decision.

Didn't realise it was only a loan. His Blackburn contract expires in the summer anyway. He'll get a better offer than Shrewsbury, I doubt he will stick with Blackburn.....who knows, free transfer, maybe, just maybe we will offer him a deal?!
