Has anyone bought/already have BritBox

yep. It’s £5.99 a month, hardly breaking the bank if you want to see it for the next two months. Plus there is classic episodes on there that I’m catching up on.

When you start paying a fiver for Britbox, eight quid for Prime, £8 for Netflix, what ever for spotify and so on, it soon adds up.
Of course, but I mean we don’t have to watch it all do we? At least you can turn them all on and off very easily, so one month have one, another month have another, with no long term commitment.

I know exactly what you mean but when do we all stop subscribing for every channel going. You could spend £50 a month easily on top of your Sky/Virgin subscription.

We all just have to manage our priorities I guess. There’s a lot of choice nowadays but we don’t have to consume it all. It’s rare that I have more than one “ON” at one time. If you subscribe to them all at once then surely there’s a limit as to how much in one month you can actually watch?

I'm hoping it will turn up on my IPTV, as I really don't see any other justification for subscribing to Britbox.

I wouldn’t bother waiting for your IPTV provider to upload it. Just get one of the free streaming apps like Cinema HD and you’ll be sorted.

This is one of the reasons piracy is on the increase again. At first it was Netflix and Amazon Prime and you could get everything you needed. Now, every broadcaster is creating their own walled garden and charging anywhere from a fiver to a tenner a month for it. Its just a Sky subscription broken down into its constituent parts, nothing has changed.

What else is there to spend money on?

We don't have it, but probably will order it going forward.

I wish I had bought shares in Jigsaws.

Is that on BritBox?
Yes it bizarrely in 5 min eps but there’s about 10 of them so basically an hour documentary. Lots of the stalwarts on Steve nallon Ian hislop John Thompson etc plus a few of those featured hessletine Edwina curry Neil Kinnock etc

then each “celeb” Introduce their favourite Classic episode And it shown in full.

so lots of spitting image stuff on there inc the first ever episode.
