Top man Picto_Leng, much appreciated, really enjoyed that. Loved the way Stan kept the number 2 shirt on Big John when upfront and it took teams a fair while to suss it out. Clever management that back in the day

Great interview. Many thanks. I saw Stan make his debut for Boro and you could see that he had all the skills but time was catching up with him. He made a good decision to call it a day when he did and concentrate on improving the youngsters. I couldn't understand his decision to let Masson go at the time, he had an eye for goal and goalscoring midfielders are hard to come by. This interview goes a long way to explaining the reason. It's just a pity for Boro that impetuosity forced the move. Had we kept him I think we would have gone up before Big Jack took over. But that would be a very different story! Thanks for the time to edit the video, Brilliant. Stan reminds me of sitting talking to my old Dad, he was from Wingate (Stan from Horden - 8 miles away) , Few more beers and I am sure some of the raunchy tales would have came out
