Hibs friendly

I like Hibs they are my Scottish club but I hope this isn't the build up to them playing us pre season at the Riverside
I can guarantee we will regret it, I know Hibs lads who still feel disappointed that their friendly game in the early 90's at AP was called off, everyman and his dog was coming down for that.

For the same reason I don't want Celtic or Rangers in Friendlies down here, they will turn up in the thousands and they both seem to attract the worst kinds of fans either for or against them which develop into incidents,. Hibs are a top team and I respect their fans but there has been little incidents between us and them going back to the 80's, they would have a big day out here and they would bring lots of mags who they have unfortunately developed a link with.

Judging by the friendly in Edinburgh I don't think there's much to worry about.
Different kettle of fish to Celtic or Rangers.

There was never a hint of trouble at the ground or in the city, before, during or after the match.
The policing was OTT and in fact any tension seemed to be caused by their presence. I do wonder if they received dodgy info.
I know a rumour started about Hibs fans looking for retribution relating to an incident in London at Euro 20. Maybe something to do with that.
 
There was a large group of Boro 'lads' in the pub before the game trying to arrange a meet with their Hibs counterparts (unsuccessfully).

I have it on good authority we have him on our list , news reports also back that up.
I agree though , he is not in the same league as Archer and Akpom , so maybe he is an option if we don't get up and both leave.

He’s injury prone, 26 and isn’t very good. I highly doubt we would look once at him never mind twice.

Bit risky given his injury history that, I like that Duk at Aberdeen
