Hojlund 72million to Man utd

think I sort of remember him from some tournament maybe the Euro's and he looked okish but not 70m maybe he has improved since, or I have totally imagined seeing him lol (edit sounds like it could be a pished memories and got the wrong guy ... )

He’s actually a really talented young player. Only broke into the Atalanta setup properly in Jan because of Dusan Zapata struggling with injuries, had played a lot of five minute cameos but in the last four months he’s basically averaged 1 in 2 in Serie A and has properly broken through in a big way for the Danish national team.

Bit lazy for the media to label him as the next Haaland because he’s a young Nordic forward who scores goals. He tends to play with the ball on the ground a lot more than Haaland does, he’s more technical than powerful in spite of being 6’3 as well. Think he’ll be fine for United but I wouldn’t be shocked if it took him 18 months to settle.

This stat is slightly deceptive. He made 12 appearances coming off the bench in the first half of the season in what amounted to five minute cameos, before then starting 20 games in the second half - this is where the 9 goals came from. So it’s just under 1 in 2 realistically.
