House alarm

Hi,

We've had our house alarm in for some years now and although it works ok, the keypad is a horrible yellow colour and we have wires running everywhere. I have been thinking about getting a wireless alarm fitted and was wondering roughly what the cost would be and if anyone could recommend a fitter or a system.

I would need three room sensors and two door sensors fitted. Preferably, not on a monthly contract.

Thanks for any advice.

I replaced my own 3 years ago. Texecom. Some parts wired, some parts wireless. Garage is 25m away from the house, so wireless and has its own keypad. I picked Texecom as I can link it into my home automation, so can set the alarm from a hidden button, or from my phone, plus link to all the echo devices as extra alarm noises and alert me on my phone... I know a lot of alarm systems can do part of these but I wanted it to link to my home auatomation.

Cost me about £200, new and 2nd hand sensors etc.

Cheers for the advice mate.

Davey said he was unable to fit me an alarm but gave me two numbers of guys to ring and said to mention his name. I ended up with a very good deal and was more than happy with the personal service I received.
