That is a really sad read. You have my admiration for fighting the good fight CTC.I was leafletting yesterday, dropping off Labour newsletters. There were a few, all young, households where they made sure that I knew they were Reform supporters, only one was polite.
I'm reading on Facebook that some of my football connections are going to be at the Cenotaph tomorrow and they're organising transport.
It's very real and for me, very dangerous. Canvassing in traditional Labour areas during the election was hard. They're talking openly about a revolution coming and they're going to be backed by big money from overseas as well as here.
We returned Labour MPs across Teesside but vote share isn't looking good. The turnout tells us that we need a party with policies to unite the country and offer hope.
I despair at people voting Reform. It is frustrating knowing the mess caused by austerity has directly created the issues now exploited by the likes of Farage.
