How easy are the far right to control and manipulate?

I'm reading on Facebook that some of my football connections are going to be at the Cenotaph tomorrow and they're organising transport.

It's very real and for me, very dangerous. Canvassing in traditional Labour areas during the election was hard. They're talking openly about a revolution coming and they're going to be backed by big money from overseas as well as here.

We returned Labour MPs across Teesside but vote share isn't looking good. The turnout tells us that we need a party with policies to unite the country and offer hope.

That is a really sad read. You have my admiration for fighting the good fight CTC.

I despair at people voting Reform. It is frustrating knowing the mess caused by austerity has directly created the issues now exploited by the likes of Farage.

That’s why I despair of people voting Tory and Lib Dem as well. They were the perpetrators. Reform are the consequence.
 
Don't let those involved fool you, the far right are very well organised; on a global level.
They target people's emotions with cleverly edited footage or worded articles.

The want to protect and defend a territory is baked in and that is what preyed on. When you add living standards dropping, communities getting poorer and a lack of opportunity and social mobility people are more likely to buy the snake oil.

The only way to stop this is to make people's lives better! Create opportunity, but that takes time and investment.

Not to be too political but the Tories austerity and rhetoric is a huge factor in what we are seeing now.

Just been told there is rioting in Pallister Park .... It's going to get worse before it gets better I fear.

Were the Harehills riots Far Left?

You can have aggrieved groups protesting, rioting and having an alternative opinion without them being labeled far right.

With the whole trans boxing issue, everyone was having an opinion. Much of it incorrect, as you say. Is Lee Dennis far right? He was spreading misinformation regarding the issue?
 
It's what you get when you have a bunch of people who are ignorant, misinformed, spreading information that's incorrect as fact, it's where social media really is a cesspit of vile hatred for a people or a certain person who are innocent and caught in the cross fire. There'll be curfews if things don't calm down.

He's since apologised and said he should have done his research first.

It's a bit like conspiracy theories. Something gets presented, shared as fact, shown to be rubbish and then the conveyer belt provides the next share with no accountability.
 
At work I'm surrounded by people who have a pure hatred for islam and immigrants. It's not even kept quiet anymore, they openly express their hate. I even hear the "moderates" say things like "they're taking over".

Most conflate all immigration with asylum seekers and are convinced they're all are raking in the benefits and getting stuff that they don't. They also think it's a secret islamic invasion of fighting age men.

They believe that they are the ones with their eyes open and the rest of us need to wake up. They also think they are the good guys. A few openly admit to being racist but most believe they are not.

They hate the MSM, especially the BBC, and think it's all part of a conspiracy.

Most are convinced there's going to be a civil war.
