How many on here attend the riverside

i don't go because it physically impossible. However I see every game I can through Riverside Live. I would even say my opinion is backed up by the replays and the multiple camera positions. Plus a little bit of insider knowledge from the commentators. So i wouldn't say a non attenders opinion is less credible than a season ticket holder. Back in the days of standing on the terraces we had little idea what was going on.
Never knew who had scored in the holgate only that it had gone in. Too busy concentrating on staying alive.

I do enjoy the pleasure of watching from a nice climate and the best seat in the house home and away. I apologise for not being able to add to the atmosphere , but I don't shout and sing much anyway,

There's the odd one that don't even have an interest in football, let alone don't go to the Riverside, who come on here to push their agenda and regurgitate their tiresome worn out rhetoric
I wonder who that could be ?
Do I win a prize for guessing ?
Does that same person like to drop formula 1 racing driver names like he knocks about with them on a regular basis. and moan about the policies of the party he voted for ? And has never ever commented about anything Boro in his entire FMTTM career. spanning many years? and holds his hands over his ears to anyone who disagrees with him.
Seems to have made a few contributions to the F1 race today like he has the faintest idea what hes talking about.

Seeing posters Criticism of Gibbo and their sweepings statements about lack of ambition and investment had me wondering how many actually attend games, Anyone want to admit they don’t actually attend just come on here to whinge, a bit like the phone in when we get beat.
I go home and away but I respect everyone who has an opinion on Boro whether they go to games or not. It’s what football is.

I love coming home & seeing the Boro watching it on TV will never replace going to a game live. Unfortunately living in Essex & work commitments mean I can’t get to games but when I do get the chance I’m there.

You'd struggle to make comments in the 80s and 90s if you didn't go.

You'd be scratching around looking for goals never mind highlights. You'd have to form an option based on what the Gazette or Echo wrote.

Now everyone has 'eyes' and you can watch or read about Boro in real time during games and highlights after. So if course you can comment if you don't attend.

I mean people hammer the government and you don't sit in parliament 😂. You can see and hear what's happing. Football is the same.

I get into football 'debates' daily at work and on twitter yet don't see the teams play. You know what's going on and can form an opinion. You dont need to be at the Riverside every week to know what Boros 'issues' are (the same as the last 5 years).

It would be pretty dull on here if only folk who attended every game could comment. Then again you do well to find a Boro based thread. The main thing I get from it is what's good to watch on TV and venting my anger at the petrol crisis.
