How many on here attend the riverside

Season ticket holder,

but I do have sympathy for those that can’t/don’t/ won’t attend. There has been precious little to get excited about or enjoy over the last few years. Because I go to games and make the most of match day, pre game pint, time with the boy, meeting friends etc I enjoy going to games. So whilst I think we are pretty cack I dont let it ruin my entire weekend as I have had some enjoyment out of it.
If I wasn’t able to go, like through lockdown I think I was more critical, but come on that 2nd half of last season was awful

I don't go anymore.

Bil Shankly was said football isn't a matter of life or death its more important than that.

It really isn't and as yiu get older I think you realise this.

When I used to go, the moaning at the games made this place look like happyland.

I think I've been enough times and suffered enough heartbreak to be able to comment on performances even if I no longer go.

I was pickin
Every opinion about football is subjective.
Comparing that to a qualified doctor's opinion on a medical matter is ridiculous.
We get 20k a game but you seem to be saying that everyone else on Teesside and beyond can't hold a critical view?
I was picking up on the fact you said uniformed and informed opinions were merely subjective, ,

In the context of the discussion i.e. football, opinions are subjective.

We weren't discussing medical matters.

But I think you knew that anyway.

Gold SC , falling out of love with football now mind , nothing to do with current manager etc , just the total cynicism in football , always been dubious owners etc , nowt new to that , it just seems to have lost the plot totally .
people have the right regardless to have a opinion on it whether they go or not , was ever thus

Been a ST holder since Ayresome Park.
Took my granddaughter to her first match against Blackpool.
Ask her if she needed the toilet at half time.... of course she didn't.
4.07 "I need the loo Grandad."
I then entered a world I've never seen before in 60+ years. I never realised how many people don't go to the game to watch the match!!!!
Suppose I'm old school I pays me money and gets what I payed for

Amature windy. At half time you don't ask a child you tell em.

Anyone need a wee it's a wasted statement on the little ones.

First 22 years 5 season tickets . Then the Mrs and sis in law lost interest Son went to uni and then moved away
Nephew left the country and lives away .
Went from buying 5 s/ts to one.
Went alone for a year as a season ticket holder then on walk up for a while going to around half the games.
Not been at all this season but that's more due to the Mrs being worried about getting covid and one of us passing it on to her 85 yr old mum.
Not really missing it but I think that's due to results rather than anything else.

Whenever I am back in the North East, I attend a home game if its on. Unfortunately, I'm back in early November, and no games at home this time.
