How many Sunderland players would get in our team?

I’d take their keeper over our current joker. Left winger (Clarke) over Giles and Stewart over Crooks.

Their keeper looked a liability to me, and that was when barely under any pressure.

I think that Diallo would absolutely get in, Stewart would get in ahead of Crooks up front (as he should).

Howson had a really poor game, but that's been a rarity under Carrick, it's not reflective of his performances over the full season.

Our midfield really struggled against theirs though, so the thread is obviously going to look daft.

Like I said, on yesterday's performance only.

Yep, based on yesterday's performance probably most of them. Based on their average over a season and actual technical ability - not too many.

Wouldn't have Clarke anywhere near our team to be honest. Good with the ball at his feet but very little end product (hence the reason Spurs got rid - if he had the final delivery he'd be playing at a much higher level).

Incredibly good at making sure his floppy hair was in place at all times though, and cultivating the bum fluff on his top lip - a look a couple of the other non-entities were rocking as well I noted

I was there yesterday and wished I wasn't, sticking with my post Stewart instead of Crooks.
But now would also change Diallo on the right instead of Forss, and our keeper again never looked comfortable all game, but wouldn't want the Sunderland lad.
