I’m not sure I’ve felt this way after a game in a long time…
I actually thought Coventry were in for a battering today but we’ve just thrown that way, they had nothing until we took our foot off the gas…
I saw a lot of positives in the likes of Clark and Coburn (too much for him to carry the whole Burdon though) howson strived and Morgan also…
Carrick needs to read a game and understand when a substitute is needed and I think he’s gonna need to trust those kids he’s calling on to warm the bench…
He needs to shake jones and greenwood, they’re not poor but they’re not stepping up. Engle was a strange one today, too many slips but still a threat and would’ve benefited from Bangura coming on rather than making way for him. Gilbert was meh…
We can’t keep saying we’re unlucky with injuries, he needs to make what we’ve got work or this is gonna be a long second half of the year…
