I think sunak will walk

Some interesting comments to my initial
Post and sadly it looks like those saying he’ll tough it out may be right.

But I still think the real
Pressure could come from within as the spotlight on his wife increases and her private affairs could see her push for him to walk away.

IMO those that vote for them are exactly that and more so now than ever before
How on earth can anyone still support them now and Boris/Sunak especially.
But they will. Because they are bigoted selfish halfwits.
Nothing that the Tories do will stop that. It's just how stupid they are.
Well being selfish and a halfwit isn't interdependent. I'd totally agree that plenty of Tory voters are fundamentally selfish, but that isn't a reflection on their intelligence as such. It's about protecting their own lifestyle and money.

It's a fair point. But it's also about bigotry.

Many of them don't like foreigners 'coming over here taking our jobs and getting our benefits' despite that fact that the majority of them that voted Tory would go anywhere near the lower paid jobs that most immigrants get.

By far the most frustrating thing for me is the realisation that no matter what the Tories do, no matter how low they go, how matter how many more children they drive into poverty, no matter the huge growth in foodbanks, the destruction of the NHS, the descent into lawless ghettos and now the breaking of the law by those at the very top.......... they will still get re-elected. No matter what they do.

Tragic, anger and bewilderment thats how I feel.... not especially for me but for my kids and their kids. That's the tragedy.

Agree totally, it's depressing

Exactly this. Yet despite their unwavering support for a bunch of corrupt, self-serving bunch of crooks they'll always argue 'you only vote Labour because your Dad did' type of rubbish.

Facy of the matter is that 30 percent of voters will absolutely vote Tory irrespective of the corruption, the criminality and vile ideology. Its mass Stockholm Syndrome and its these enablers that allow this repulsive regime to further erode our freedoms. Sickening.

It’s clear Sunak isn’t going “to walk”. He wouldn’t have brazened out this current crisis if he was. It would have been a perfect opportunity to show some genuine e remorse and honour. Oh no. They don’t have that in their make up.

I actually laughed out loud at Johnsons official statement yesterday when he said the “ I am now even more obliged and resolved“ bollox. They are completely laughing at us and take us for fools, and it angers me that many don’t see it or don’t appear to see it.
