I think sunak will walk

I think you may be right. Be interesting if he tries to take Johnson with him.
O dear o dear. How wrong are you ? Entitlement is entitlement and Sunak isn’t Johnson’s sidekick for nothing
Neither have any integrity whatsoever and it’s being proven out as Sunak confirms he is staying too…..
Amazing eh ????
Fcuking amazing
Fascists in charge of our uk government
Fascist because they are rules for everyone else but they are above them and although they admit breaking those rules it’s not a big deal and just get on with your day folks…
Nothing to see but hypocrites in twos 👍👍

Its reported in a number of outlets today that he had to be talked into not walking. Lets face it, neither he nor Doris need the money its purely a power trip. If Rishi wraps Doris has got to go but who next? Just the next snake on top of the pile! The worst thing about this debacle is no other party are even close to power.

If Sunak was clever he'd resign as Chancellor, knowing Johnson won't give up his office and he'd be seen as the one doing the right thing, although he'd forgo the chance of replacing Johnson, when his edifice inevitably collapses, it would enable him to distance himself from him and allow Sunak the long term opportunity of leading the Conservative Party, if that's his aim.

I seriously doubt he could find Richmond on a map
His only redeeming feature is that he does visit and has a place near Northallerton.
I've seen him a few times out and about in the local restaurants.
He turned up at the Coach House without a booking and got turned away (love that place even more for that)
Nobody has ever seen his Mrs or his kids up here though.
Richmondshire is just about the safest Tory seat in the land.
A consituency populated by a majority of bigoted selfish halfwits.

Middleton lodge coach house?

Totally agree, I also live in his constituency and the older voters especially love "Rishi". He wears a smart suit and speaks politely, that seems to satisfy them. In addition I think lots have a weird pride about the chancellor being their MP

That's not really true, it's a pretty diverse population in terms of ends of the spectrum of wealth, and I'd say most of the under 50s are pretty liberal. But what we do have is a large ageing population of wealthy Tory voters, and pockets of poorer areas where voter turnout is low. It gives the classic conditions for a Tory stronghold

The numbers speak otherwise.
Sunak got a huge majority despite having NOTHING remotely in common with the area. 63% of the vote with Labour a very distant second at 16%. And a very un liberal 12% for the LibDems.
A shoe-in for the scum supported by fkwits who will vote for them no matter what 'because we've always voted Tory and so did my Father'

The thing is students were fined 10k for having birthday parties in their flats. While Boris is only fined £50 for his birthday party is scanderlous

It was the "bigoted selfish halfwits" really that really i was taking issue with.
I'm not denying the election results but like lots of places, unfortunatley, it reflects the strong turnout from the large older wealthy population. You can be sure that those struggling to buy houses in the towns and villages they grew up in are not Tory voters, and neither are any of the people i associate with.

IMO those that vote for them are exactly that and more so now than ever before
How on earth can anyone still support them now and Boris/Sunak especially.
But they will. Because they are bigoted selfish halfwits.
Nothing that the Tories do will stop that. It's just how stupid they are.
