I enjoy the 'Mini League' thread. Here's an alternative statistical view. Prior to the Bristol City game the projection had us coming 2nd by 2 points, now we're 3rd by a point. Good indicator of which games could be key - Sheff United game looks huge, as does Bournemouth.

I like both bits of analysis - BoroMart's and this - as they help contextualise really well.
Sadly I think the defeat at Brizzle ended any hopes of 2nd for a number of reasons.
I'd still be happy with a Play Off chance given where we were.

I will be chuffed with 3rd or 4th spot. Forget second it is statistically unlikely barring a minor miracle.

To do even that, we need Jones to keep fit, to not pick up unnecessary yellow cards like yesterday as a starter for ten and to get Bola playing at his best too.

I dont like this one, we miss out on automatic by a point and Derby are safe.
I did it 2 games ago and Derby were safe a lot more comfortably so the last results have affected it quite a lot. One loss for us/Bournemouth/Sheff does skew it quite a lot

Interesting.

It will be tough to continue such great form, but if we do, and if Bournemouth continue to pick up points at the same rate, then second spot will be achievable.

I do think it's beyond us and it's the play offs, but in this division you just never know, one or two games could make all the difference.

I tend to agree but also think Bournemouth having those two games called off could work against them. I know they’ll have all their superstars back but they could find they have been caught on points and have the pressure of playing the games in hand (or maybe that is just my wishful thinking)

There’s no such thing as fractional points therefore this is worthless.

Despite QPR winning late on they now drop to 7th and Luton leapfrog them into projected 5th, pushing Huddersfield into 6th spot.

Squeaky bum time for Derby now as they are only projected to finish 1 point above Reading.
