If you’ve got young kids, please get out and enjoy the snow with them.

Because before you know they are 15 and you’re more excited about the snow than they are and you remember all the times they asked you to go out in the snow but you were too busy or it was too cold, or you say wouldn’t you rather watch the tele!!!

Snow is fun and kids soon grow up!!!!

My 16 year old has built a snowman this morning in the back garden...I love that even at her age she still enjoys the little things like that

Dog went straight out, nicked the carrot nose and ate it though....both of us laughed out loud....again the little things.

There was a cracking run at preston Park down the hill towards the river just beyond the redundant Aviary. It was ruined when the powers that be ran the path across it. I and all the kids I grew up with spent many a happy day bombing down that run. I took my daughter and soon to be son in-law down there sledging oo way back, thad a great time. He fell off and wasn't a happy bunny at all, no steering skills lol.

Well I managed to convince my lad he’s not to old for snow, built a snowman and had a proper snowball fight (in which I destroyed him of course) and then did some goalkeeper work which mainly involved him diving through the snow!

I used to love sledging with my son when he was a teenager. Trouble is though, at my age and size the modern sledges break when I jump on them. Did nt do that when I was a kid.
