If you have a few days off…

How will you use them?

Not everyone has a lot of time off at this time of year, I am lucky enough to always be off for ten days or so. So, what to do?

My daughter’s home, so some mouching together, for sure. Learning jazz guitar chords (Specific to me atm), reading Three Men in a Boat - spontaneous choice.

Last year I tried to find downed WW2 German planes. Best use of time off?

my life is VERY exciting at xmas. tmrw morning I'm planning on picking up about ten thousand fallen apples in the garden, and getting rid. roll on boxing day, pub & footy.

I've heard the days between Christmas and New Year referred to as the festive perineum recently 😂

Have a few days booked out for some walks and a road trip and overnight with the wife and kids, golf booked in for a day and some beers with mates as well as the football. Just got Bob Mortimer's novel to read and otherwise will rest and recuperate from a busy and challenging year in work.

Time to reflect on what to do better next year. Happy Christmas fellow Mooners 👍🏻

Xmas day off then straight back to work boxing day for me unfortunately. Busy time this Xmas thing for my industry.

I'm off from the 27th to the 3rd, not sure what to do, I'm still skint from a 3 week holiday in October taking in various places in Spain, and then coming back for the week long Devonfest with the two games. Otherwise I would be home for the Coventry match. As it is I can only go to 1 game in Jan, unless we get through and have a special game in the 4th Rd FA Cup then it should be either Millwall or Birmingham I go to, they are both on my weekend off..

Spending our 1st Christmas away from home with my daughter, Son in Law and granddaughters in Cyprus, not coming home till the 16th Jan. Up side plenty of sun, downside I miss a few Boro games. Family come first.

You don't live on Arlington Road by any chance do you? Used to be an old orchard there, my Mam's house gets hundreds of them every year🤣

I'll be spending a day or two in the bit between Boxing Day and NYE boarding out my loft, then moving all the $hite from the spare room up there so that in turn can become a gym for myself and my daughter to use👍🙂

Oh and going for an extended family meal on the 30th😊
